Srikanta Bose is an accomplished Mime artist. He completed his diploma in Mime art from under the able guidance of maestro Shri Jogesh Dutta in Kolkata and has been honored with a National scholarship for Mime from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He took advanced training on mime. He also participated in the World Mime Festival held in Greece with his teacher and achieved First position. Srikanta performed in different parts of India and abroad. He represented his motherland in the Cultural Festival of UNESCO in Paris, 2005. He also performed in Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, and so forth. He is a recipient of “Ustad Bismillah Khan Youth Award” for the year 2008 from Sangeet Natak Academy, New ONE MAN Delhi, for his achievement in the field of Mime.
