Pankaj Gupta is a freelancer Delhi-based actor, theatre director and workshop conductor. He has participated in many forms of theatre and performances such as Street Plays, Dance, Proscenium Theatre, Puppetry and Playback Theatre among other things. Pankaj has conducted many workshops for students and has prepared young students for street plays on social issues. He has been working as an actor in the Bollywood Musical Production of Kingdom of Dreams called 'Jhumroo' since 2012. He was associated with Astad Deboos Dance Company as a dancer for six years and travelled across the world as a performer with the legendary dancers troupe. He was also involved in Theatre workshops with children and has written and directed short educational movies. As an actor, he has worked in movies and web series including Road to Ladakh, Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Ek Battey Do, Pahar Ganj, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Sand Ki Aankh, Delhi Crimes S1 & Fallen. In 2014 Pankaj represented India at an international production named Tin Forest and 2016 Home Away organized by the National Theatre of Scotland in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Pankaj has worked with very eminent theatre directors of the country including Kapil Dev, Rajeev Gaur Singh, Shorupa Ghosh, Astad Deboo, Dadi Padam ji, Dilip Shankar, Varun Narayan, Mrinalini, Puneeta Roy, Kiran Deep Sharma, VK Sharma and Nilambari Chintamani.
