Mayukh Bhattacharya is a Kathak artist who began his training under the guidance of his father, Shri Malay Bhattacharya. Mayukh has nurtured his craft from a young age. He holds an M.A. in Kathak from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya. He has been awarded a Gold Medal in Sangeet Bhaskar from Pracheen Kala Kendra, as well as the Sangeet Prabhakar title from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. Renowned for his expressive abhinaya and intricate footwork, he has performed at prestigious platforms such as the Khajuraho Festival, SAARC Festival (Nepal), International Women's Day (Dubai) and events hosted by Doordarshan, ICCR, and the Ministry of Culture. His acclaimed choreographic works such as Tridhara, Arkaya, Darpan and Colors of Bengal reflect his deep aesthetic vision. A recipient of the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship (2004), he is an empanelled artist with Doordarshan and continues to inspire the next generation by teaching Kathak to numerous students across India.
