Komal Biswal is a senior disciple of Kathak danseuse Padmasree Shovana Narayan. She has been a teacher of the classical dance of Kathak for many years under the expert mentoring of her guru. A graduate in B Com and with a diploma in Financial Accounting, Komal has also received her Honours degree in Kathak from Indira Kala Sangeet University Khairagarh. She has trained for over 15 years under her gurus Smt hovana Narayan and Shri Tirath Ajmani. Her experience as a teacher includes 5 Years Teaching Experience in Asawari Institute, 1 Year Teaching Experience in GD Goenka School Model Town and 1 Year Teaching Experience in Gyan Shree School at Noida Express Highway. Some of her most landmark performances include Commonwealth Games 2010, India China Cultural Exchange Programme, Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanan (Tirupathi), Lalit Arpan Annual Festival of Asavari Institute, Cultural Festival of Kurukshetra, Pinjor, Vrindavan and Aligarh, Lucknow Mahotsav, Konark Festival (Odisha), Uttarkhasi Mahotsav & Taj Mahotsav, Pune Festival (Maharashtra), Ganga Mahotsav (Banaras), International Performance Experience in Seychelles (East Africa), Russia and South America.
