Jitender Kumar is a skilled theatre performer and a multi-talented personality. Not only has he mastered his art in the field of theatre but also has worked as a makeup artist, a director, an assistant director, and a teacher. He pursued MA in Performing Arts Design and Direction from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and a diploma in Theatre Arts from Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, Bhopal. Furthermore, he mastered his theatrical skills under the guidance of some esteemed personalities such as Sanjay Upadhay, Alok Chaterjee, Partho Bandhopadhya, C R Jambe, K.K Rajan, Shri Dr. Jaidev Taneja, D.P. Sinha, J.P. Singh, Akhilesh Khanna, DR. Danish Iqbal, Ravi Taneja, Chitra Singh, Sanjeev Kant, Vaisishth Upadhya, Ashraf Ali. On top of that, he has directed several plays such as Baat Ki Baat, Vyaktigat, Khidki, Khamosh Adalat Jaari Hai, The Gandhi, Kanua Nai, Bhagat Singh and many more educational plays and has worked as assistant director in plays like Bemisaal Bismil, Kamchor or Nalachi, Time Machine, Laata and Bade Bhai Sahab. He has also worked under Delhi government's project as a drama instructor.
