Vithya Arasu has done her Bachelors in Performing Arts (Bharatnatyam) from the Bharataiar Palakali Koodam affiliated to Pondicherry University and Master of Fine Arts from Sastra University (Dance). She has also completed her Diploma in Dance Teacher Training from Tamil University. She has performed for approximately 50 shows in Dr. Padma Subrahmanyams group. She has also performed live in the presence of Honourable President Pratibha Patil at Rajnivas, Pondicherry. She has performed for Doordarshan in Pondicherry, Soorya Festival in Kerala, Natyanjali in Chidambaram, Seerkazhi, Kumbakonam, Thirunallar, Tanjore and Nagapattinam. Her performances include the Dussehra Festival in Kulu in 2010, the International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi among other prestigious venues.
