Vishavdeep is presently working as a Repertory dancer at the National Institute of Kathak Kendra. He has finished his Post Diploma (highest Degree of Kathak) From Kathak Kendra as a scholar. He is a Senior Disciple of Guru Narain Prasad, Nandini Singh and Prerana Shrimali. His qualifications include Vishard from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Post diploma in Kathak from Kathak Kendra Delhi, Diploma (Hon) from Kathak Kendra, M.A from Indira Kala Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh. He is a graded artist of Doordarshan Delhi. He is a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture, Sahitya Kala Parishad and Kathak Kendra in Kathak Dance. He won first prize in International competition held in Himachal 2003 and National Competition held in Punjab 2003. He also won first prize in All India Competition held in Jammu and awarded as Best Dancer in Lucknow Amethi Mahotsava. He has performed various solo and remarkable performances in Delhi in Raza Foundation and in various Kathak Utsavas. Apart from performing solos he has also conducted various workshops in Goa, Algeria, China, Paris, Spain and in London etc. His performances include performance in China Silk Road Festival, in Turkey under the choreography of Geetanjali Lal, in Algeria in second Indo-Arab Festival, in Paris, Spain, London through ICCR with Rani Khanam, in Belarus, Brunei and in Mauritius. He has performed under the Choreography of Legend Pt. Birju Maharaj and under various gurus like Nandini Singh, Prerana Shrimali, Rajendra Kumar Gangani, Jai Kishan Maharaj, Geetanjali Lal, Rani Khanam, Shaswati Sen. He has performed in Kathak Mahotsava, Vasant Utsav ,Vasant international Festival Shard Utsav, Malhar Festival, Neemrana Festival etc.
