Soma Mandal is MA Bharatnatyam from Tamil Nadu University. She has also completed 7 years from Bangiya Sangeet Kala Kendra in Bharatnatyam. She is a Grade A Bharatnatyam dancer awarded by EZCC Expert Committee in Prativa Chayan Utsav, Ministry of Culture. Soma has been awarded the Nritya Kala Vidushi. She has participated in various prestigious dance festivals including those organized by ICCR. Her performances across India have left her audiences spellbound. She has also been honored with the Brij Madhuri Samman received at the International Multi Lingual Play Dance Music Festival at Mathura Conducted by Mohan Rang Sanskritik Sansthan. Among her participations include the Mahshivarathri Natyanjali 2018 at Thirukameswarar Temple, Villianur, Puducherry conducted by Bharatha Gaana Sabha. Soma has been a Bharatnatyam coach and teacher at various schools during her career. She has also received the Kala Sanskriti Samman for promotion and preservation of Indian culture.
