Shobha Bisht is a professional performing artist in Odissi Classical Dance and has been training in Odissi Dance under Smt Madhavi Mudgal for the past seventeen years. She has graduated in Odissi dance from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal. Shobha has been a recipient of the Sahitya Kala Parishad Scholarship, 2015. She has performed as an intrinsic part of her Gurus troupe in the major festivals in India and abroad, some of major performances being Ananya Dance Festival (New Delhi), Kala Ghora Festival (Mumbai), and Choreography Festival (Bhubaneshwar), International dance performances in France, Brussels, Nepal, London, Germany, Spain and New York.
