Rohit Pawar has emerged as an energetic and fast rhythmic Kathak dancer who has imbibed the intricacies of this classical dance form under the able guidance of Guru Smt. Vaswati Misra and his brother Rahul Pawar. He has successfully passed the Visarat from Pt. Shambhu Maharaj Kathak Academy (Delhi). Rohit has performed at Dhwani mega events such as the Common Wealth Games in 2010, Ananya Festival in Purana Qila in 2011, Kathak Mahotsav, Lucknow, Maharana Kumbha Samaroh, Chaiti Festival, Badal Rag Festival, SIIFCY International Film Festival in 2019, META Award Function, Virasat Festival and Kathak Mahotsav - New Delhi. He has performed in many programmes like Trishanku & Swara (Rachna Yadav) Rang Varsha and Taal Rang (Rajender Gangani ji), In Search of Love (Astha Dixit), Heroinsheds (Vaswati Misra ji), Yashodhara Production (Pt. Jitendra Maharaj) and Eklavya. He has also performed internationally for Sailing the Silk Road (Kuwait in 2017 and China in 2018), Yashodhara (South America in 2019) and has given many international performances in Amsterdam, Ecuador, Beijing (China), Kuwait and Germany.
