Dr. Priyambada Tiwari is an Indian Classical Bharatanatyam dancer and Ph.D. degree holder from M.S. University, Vadodara, Gujarat. She has been learning Bharatanatyam for the past 16 years with Guru Mala Humble, Guru Prem Chand Humble, and later Dr. Smruti Vaghela. She has 6 years of teaching experience, having taught at IIT Banaras Hindu University (2015-2021) and IIT Kharagpur (2017-2018). Dr. Priyambada Tiwari has written more than 4 articles on Bharatanatyam and has attended many national and international seminars and workshops. She has directed dance workshops at Natural Dance Academy, Patna, Atulanand Convent School, Varanasi, and Sunbeam Academy, Varanasi. She has also taken workshops and lecture demonstrations conducted by the NGO Routes 2 Roots, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. She has received many several awards such as the Bharat Gaurav ratna, Rani Laxmi bai award, Ex. Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee award, Avantika award, and Prerana Sthambh award. She has performed at many national and international festivals, dance and drama competitions, youth festivals, and national level competitions across India, Nepal, and Thailand. She has also worked in Sanskrit dance dramas such as Karnabharam, Malavika Agnimitram, and Umaparanayam. Currently, She is a performer, teacher, and choreographer.
