Mrinal Sharma is a disciple of Padma Bhushan Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan. She has been dancing and getting trained under her Guru for the past 20 years. Mrinal has performed eloquently on a number of platforms, which include performances at Common Wealth Games opening Ceremony (October-2010), Group Performances at Auto Expo and Tamil Nadu Bhavan for Pongal Festival. She has also performed for Yashodra - A Production by Dr.Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan, which was presented at Tamil Nadu Dance and Music Festival (December-2013), the Mahabalipuram Dance Festival and Bodh Mahotsav, Bihar and for the Rotary Club on several occasions. She has choreographed Annual College Day, 2009 at Gargi College. She has won many awards in Indian Classical & folk dance at College and national level. She is currently a teacher at Ganesa Natalya. Along with pursuing her passion, she has her own brand of coffee by the name of BABA'S BEANS reaching out to coffee lovers across the country. She was honoured with the Exceptional Women of excellence award by the Women Economic Forum in 2019 and Travel and Hospitality Women Entrepreneur Award 2020. She is also a National Council member of WICCI Wellness and Resorts.
