Kannagi is a versatile performer proficient in kathak and Odissi. Currently immersed in her PhD studies in Dance and Sanskrit. She received her intensive training under the able guidance of Guru Parwati Dutta at Mahagami Gurukul, Laying the foundation of her classical dance prowess. Further, she underwent advanced Kathak training under the esteemed Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj Ji and had the privilege of touring nationally and internationally with his group. Over two decades into her career, Kannagi continues to captivate audiences with her enchanting Kathak and Odissi performances, both in India and on the global stage. She is a distinguished Kathak and Odissi dancer and graced numerous National & international festivals, captivating audiences in cities across India such as Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, and more. Her global performances include Germany, China, and Saudi Arabia. Notably, she performed for former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh during a Germany-India relations conference. She received many awards including Nrityabhushan Samman, Pt. Arjun Mishra Samman and Acharya Aryanandi Puruskar. She has performed in the India International Dance Festival (IIDF), Serendipity Festival, Elephanta Festival and Others.
