Gyanendra Dutt Bajpai

Gyanendra Dutt Bajpai is a Bharatanatyam Performer and traditionally trained in the Tanjore Style of Bharatanatyam Classical Dance under the able tutelage of Padmabhushan Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan. He is a Graded Artist from Delhi Doordarshan Kendra (Delhi Television Centre). Various TV channels like Doordarshan, Star Plus, Aaj Tak, Sun TV, Raj TV, ETV, Fuji-8 TV, Nihon TV, NHK, etc. have been telecasting his classical dance performances. NHK (Japanese TV Channel) launched a special program of Bharatanatyam dance lessons conducted by Gyanendra. He has been awarded by many institutions and associations for his contribution to the field of dance. He has also been awarded a National Scholarship by the Government of India. He participated in the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, 2010 held in New Delhi. He has also performed National Level Performances such as the Konark Music & Dance Festival, All India Sanskrit Conference, Lucknow Mahotsav, Ruby Festival of Ganesa Natyalaya, National Dance Festival, National Seminar & Dance Festival, Guru Saranam Dance festival and among others, His talent has awarded him with many titles such as Gino-Shou by World Dance Festival 2007, Printania Award 2009, Rabindranath Tagore Award 2019, Yuva Natya Kalacharya 2019, and Guru Ratna Award 2022 among others. Presently, he is working as Lecturer-Bharatanatyam at Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Lucknow (India) since June 2005.
