Gautam Kale was born and brought up in a family who believed in the power of music. He received his initial training from his father Dr. Kishore Kale and went on to receive his further training from Mrs. Kunda Joshi , and then from Pt. V.G.Ringe who is a known singer from Gwalior gharana. Gautam believes in worship or Upasna that has a strong base of ingrained love for music and total devotion to guru and has followed that path in his music journey as well. He has a deep respect for his gurus and has had the opportunity to learn from Kalpana Zokarkar who has been a true mentor and guide to him. He also has a deep respect for the legend Pandit Jasraj ji. He is highly influenced by his singing style & is also fortunate to have nourished his musical talent under the guidance of Sangeet Martand Pt. Jasraj.
