Garima Chavan is MA in Bharatanatyam from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. She has completed her B.Tech Mechanical from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai. She has received training in this art form under the tutelage of Guru Sri Pavitra Krishna Bhat and Guru Smt. Aparna Shastry Bhat. Her performances include the G20 Sherpa Meeting held in Udaipur 2022, the 25th Natyanjali dance festival 2022, Ruturang Festival Aurangabad 2008, and Toured in Australia representing India as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' sponsored by ICCR, India in October 2022. Garima has won many awards such as a consolation prize in the Nrutya Shabda Essay competition 2021 for the topic Nayaka Bheda, Won state and district level Bharatanatyam competition organised by Nrityasadhana Kala Academy in 2008 and 2009, and Winner of Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav organised by Ministry of Culture, Government of India and she was a part of Republic Day Parade 2022. She received an Awarded scholarship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Government of India in 2011.
