Barnali Saha is an Indian classical Odissi dancer who has staged various dance performances for more than 15 years. She embraced the Odissi dance form and became a disciple of Guru Jyoti Srivastava at Vaishali Kala Kendra. She received her training under the able guidance of Guru Jyoti Srivastava and late Guru Deba Prasad Das. Barnali is also enriched in Abhinay Darpan and Abhinay Chandrika, which are ancient Indian treatises on Odissi dance. She has participated in several prestigious dance festivals such as Khajuraho Festival, Delhi International Festival, Bhubaneswar International Odissi Dance Festival, Konark Festival Odisha, Namaste Japan Fest, and Srikhetra Festival among others. Baranali also received training in Kathak and Bharatnatyam dance forms. Her major interest is to spread the beauty and history of Odissi Dance not only through dance performances but also to propagate the actual meaning of the choreography.
