Arshdeep Kaur is a Kathak dancer and started her training under the guidance of Guru Dr. Daisy Walia. She graduated with a gold medal from B.A. Hons School in Dance 2018, and she received a gold medal for her Master of Arts in Indian Dances in 2020. She has represented Punjabi University, Patiala, at the international level in the South Asian Countries Fest held in Ganpat University, Gujarat in 2018. She has also performed Kathak in different countries such as Canada, America, and Kenya. At the national level, Arshdeep has been a three-time national winner and gold medalist in youth festivals organized by AIU ‘All Indian Universities’. She has also performed professionally at Damoh in Madhya Pradesh on Guru Purnima Day in 2018, and at different places such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Chamba, Ferozepur, and Nangal organized by Rashtriya Sangeetgya Parivaar. She was the second runner-up in the OPEN YUVA MAHOTSAV (Open youth festival) held at Indira Gandhi Prasthan, Lucknow, in 2020. In addition to her competition successes, she has participated in a number of other dance projects. She assisted as a choreographer in the multimedia and creative teams for a musical dance drama called Rangrez-1919 (A Tribute to Jallianwala Bagh Massacre) organized by the Department of Dance, Punjabi University, Patiala, in 2016. She was winner in classical dance in the Inter-Varsity Youth Festival organized by Youth Services Punjab held at Chandigarh in 2017. She has appeared in two reality shows: India's Got Talent and Super Super Dancer. During the pandemic year of 2020, Arshdeep performed in a number of online dance festivals and events, including the Late Pt. Gauri Shankar Festival, the National Ghunghroo Festival, the Nritya Guru Samarpan online series, the Indian Classical Dance Festival organized by Sarb Akal Music Society of Calgary, the online series ‘Sankalp’ organized by Guru Vidha Lal Ji, and Exploration of Indian Classical Dances in 2020. She is a highly accomplished Kathak dancer with a wide range of experience and has won numerous awards and accolades. She is a talented and dedicated dancer who is sure to continue to achieve great things in the future.
