Amalendu K Raj started her basics from Kerala Kalamandalam in Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam. After completing her Bachelors in Business Studies she pursued Masters from Central university in Bharatanatyam under Professor Pasumarthi Ramalinga Sastri. She has been a presence in festivals and workshops all over India. Apart from classical Dance she also has an interest in Theatre and the Film industry.
